Ashley is an associate at Kastner Ko LLP, practicing in the areas of human rights law, labour and employment law, constitutional law, and civil litigation. She's committed to ensuring her clients feel supported and in control throughout the legal process. She's a skilled negotiator, creative problem solver, and an effective litigator.

Prior to joining Kastner Ko LLP, Ashley practiced human rights and employment law at a large firm in Hamilton and clerked at the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Ashley attended law school at the University of New Brunswick, where she earned the Lord Beaverbrook Scholarship in Law, competed in the Wilson Moot on equality law, and volunteered with the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic. 

Before attending law school, Ashley completed her Master of Arts in Anthropology at the University of Guelph, focusing on the reform of the Criminal Code post-Bedford, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Anthropology at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

She is a current member of the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre Board of Directors, the Sexual Assault Centre (Hamilton and Area) Management Committee, and the Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) Hamilton Executive Committee.
